Nikolce Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz who scored an early goal in the 7th minute through attacker Mohamed Zidan but only clinched one point after the visitors scored a late equalizer in the 89th minute.  A shot from the edge of the area took a deflection off of Noveski before falling perfectly for Hannover striker Artur Sobiech who did the rest by slotting the ball past the Mainz keeper.

Hristijan Kirovski returned from his one game yellow cards suspension for Apollon by starting on the bench before he entered the game in the 75th minute replacing João Paulo.

Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Alki who recorded a come from behind victory to collect all three points against struggling side Anagennisi Deryneia.
