The new season in the third league group East will start on September 15, but with only 10 teams. The draw made on Wednesday revealed the schedule.
Only 10 teams will participate this season, which is one more than last season. Still, it is a disappointing number. A month ago there were 12 teams that showed interest, but at the last moment Rudar from Probishtip decided not to enter, saying it will concentrate on the youth teams this season. Also, the club that announced their revival, Granichar from Novo Konjarevo, stepped down few weeks after going public with their idea.
This season Bregalnica 1926 from Delchevo returns in action, as well as Svetlost from Zrnovci, who won the 4.MFL Kochani. This club was used to be known as Zrnovka back in the days.
Last season Vardarski got promoted to the 2.MFL, while no team got relegated from the second division in the East.
The new season will kick-off on September 15. At the end of the season the winner will enter a play-off for filling the second league, while there won’t be relegation.
