Macedonian attacker Aco Stojkov came on at the start of the 2nd half for Aarau and scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute to give Aarau a 1:0 win over Brühl.

Aco Stojkov recently returned from an injury for Aarau that sidelined him for over a month.  During today’s home game against Brühl, Stojkov started on the bench before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing David Marrazzi.  Minutes later, in the 50th minute, Stojkov scored the only goal of the game after the opposing defender slipped which led to Stojkov scoring the fortunate goal.

Stojkov was not the only Macedonian who scored a goal in the Swiss second division.  Adis Jahović from Wil also scored a goal in his team’s 3:0 win over Lugano.  The 24-year-old Jahović scored the second goal for Wil in the 32nd minute.  Adis started the game for Wil and played until the 83rd minute when he was replaced by Stefano Milani.
