Tough groups in today’s draw for both Macedonian national team players who will participate in the Europa League group stages with their respective clubs.

Goran Popov and his Dynamo Kyiv are in Group E and will have to face Beşiktaş (Turkey), Stoke City (England) and Maccabi Tel-Aviv (Israel).  Keep in mind that Dynamo Kyiv and Beşiktaş met in the Round of 32 during last year’s Europa League and the Ukrainian giants easily advanced by beating the Turkish club 8:1 on aggregate over the two games.

Meanwhile, Agim Ibraimi and Maribor from Slovenia found themselves in Group H together with last season’s finalists Braga (Portugal), Club Brugge (Belgium) and Birmingham City (England).
