Greek newspapers are reporting that Rabotnicki has accepted an offer of 350,000 euros from Olympiacos for the young keeper Stole Dimitrievski.
Due to his good performances with Rabotnicki during the Europa League qualifications, Stole Dimitrievski drew heavy interest from abroad but Olympiacos is expected to be his next team after they made the best offer for his services. According to Greek newspaper Sportday, Rabotnicki has accepted an offer of 350,000 euros from Olympiacos and Dimitrievski is expected to join the Greek club during the 2012 January transfer window. The transfer can not be finalized at the moment because Dimitrievski is still only 17 years old. A player must be at least 18 to transfer abroad and Dimitrievski will turn 18 years old on 25 December 2011.
Rabotnicki decided to focus on its young players this season and that approach has worked as the youngsters have been playing well and Rabotnicki has advanced all the way to the play-off round of the Europa League qualifications. Rabotnicki will also benefit by making profits on the sale of their young players and then the club can reinvest that money to improve the infrastructure and continue investing more resources into their youth system. Dimitrievski started a couple of games for Rabotnicki last year but entered this season as the unquestioned starter. In the past, Dimitrievski has been on trial to several clubs in the Netherlands but Olympiacos showed the most interest in signing him this summer, especially after his performance during the first leg against Anorthosis. The chief scout of Olympiacos, Darko Kovačević, watched Dimitrievski against Anorthosis and came away impressed which led to him recommending that the club sign Dimitrievski for the future. Stole is also the starting keeper for the Macedonian U19 national team.
