AEK welcomed second league side PAEEK in Larnaca in the first leg of the quarter-finals. Trichko was the one to break the dead lock after just 6 minutes of play scoring on a header after a corner kick.
Three minutes later he assisted to Apostolos Giannou for doubling the lead.
In the 79th minute Trichko set the final score of 7:0 with a bicycle kick goal. Ten minute later he missed a good chance to celebrate a hat-trick. He played the full 90 minutes.
His teammate Daniel Mojsov also played at this game and had a chance to score on a header in the 32nd minute, but despite sending a good shot the keeper made a save. He was substituted in the 59th minute when attacker Onisiforos Rousias took his place.
With this win AEK is practically in the semis as the return leg scheduled for 7 March will only be a formality.
Trichko’s goals (at 0:22 & 4:29), assist (at 0:42), chance (at 5:26)
and Mojsov’s header (at 2:20)
