National team manager Boshko Gjurovski announced on Tuesday that Zharko Serafimovski and Argjend Bekjiri will be part of the coaching staff as his two assistants.
The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) made the announcement in a press release on Tuesday. Both Serafimovski and Bekjiri formerly played for the Macedonian national team and possess some international experience during their playing careers.
Serafimovski, 42, was capped 34 times for Macedonia and will now return to the national team as one of the assistants under Gjurovski. In his playing career, besides stints with several Macedonian clubs (Vardar, Makedonija GjP and Renova), Zharko also played abroad in countries such as Switzerland, Turkey, Israel and Bulgaria.
The other assistant under Gjurovski will be 39-year-old Argjend Bekjiri, a player who made 17 appearances for the senior national team of Macedonia and scored one goal. His playing career was mostly spent on the domestic scene, experiencing the most success with Sloga Jugomagnat, but he also had brief international adventures in Belgium and Switzerland.
Mane Manev, meanwhile, will remain the goalkeeping coach under the new coaching staff as well.
