Roberto, the Granada starting keeper, is struggling with a quad injury, so the Spanish club has called up two keepers from the Granada II team, Stole Dimitrievski and Edgar Badia, to join in training with the first team.  Granada had just two keepers on its first team in Roberto and Orestis Karnezis.

Granada has a game coming up this Sunday in a Copa del Ray clash against Alcorcón.  If Roberto is unable to recover in time, Karnezis is expected to get the start in goal, while Dimitrievski and Badia would battle for the backup keeper spot on the bench.

Dimitrievski, who turns 20 years old later this month, has exclusively played for the Granada II team this season.  In 16 completed rounds involving Granada II, Dimitrievski has started in 13 of the games, with Badia getting the remaining 3 starts.

Stole is on loan at Granada II from Italian club Udinese, a team he originally joined in the 2012 winter transfer window from Rabotnichki.  Granada and Udinese do a lot of loan exchanges as both clubs are owned by Giampaolo Pozzo.

On the Macedonian U21 national team, manager Boban Babunski has been alternating Dimitrievski and Dejan Iliev as starters between the goal posts.  For example, in last month’s qualifiers, Dimitrievski started the match against Azerbaijan U21 on 15 November, while Iliev got the nod for the Norway U21 game on 19 November.
