The remaining 16 teams still alive in the Macedonian Cup learned their opponents for the 1/8 finals, the highlight being a matchup between Metalurg and Vardar.

Two of the best teams in the domestic league, Vardar and Metalurg, were drawn to face each other in one of the matchups of the Macedonian Cup 1/8 finals.  The other interesting matchup as a result of today’s draw is Horizont Turnovo and Bregalnica Shtip, currently tied at the top of the standings after the opening six rounds in league play.

Teteks, the defending champions of the competition, will square off against Renova.  11 of the 12 first division sides are still alive in the competition, with only Gorno Lisiche being eliminated in the 1/16 finals.

Teteks vs. Renova

Pelister vs. Miravci

Rabotnichki vs. Novaci

Sileks vs. Drita

Gostivar vs. Napredok

Shkendija vs. Makedonija Gjorche Petrov

The first legs of these matchups will be held on 18 September with the return legs set to take place a week later on 25 September.  The eight eventual winners will move on to the quarter-finals of the competition.
