One of the three groups within the Macedonian capital ended the opening half-season this Sunday.

Eight teams participate this season in the group Skopje and 3 are debutantes in Olimpik, Besa and Rashtak. Olimpik and Besa are new clubs, while Rashtak last season got relegated from the third league group North but relocated itself from the Gazi Baba fourth division group. That occurred as before last season Rashtak bought the third league spot of Butel, who were champions in 4.MFL Skopje in the season 2022/23 and won the play-off to win promotion.
Also, after 5 seasons of inactivity, Napredok 65 got reactivated and plays this season. It is a club from the lone Roma dominated municipality in Macedonia, Shuto Orizari in Skopje. Unfortunately, the team now plays its home matches at the Volkovo stadium and waits for the Shuto Orizari Municipality to bring their home stadium in good shape.
As expected, Rashtak dominated the half-season, winning all but one match. Rashtak slipped against Besa at home, playing a 1:1 draw. Second with 3 points less is Bratstvo from Ljubin, who lost 1:10 tr Rashtak’s and in the second half-season will host the leaders.
Rashtak is also the highest scoring team with 31 goals and also holds the biggest victory when in Round 2 defeated Olimpik with 8:1. Olimpik and Napredok 65 played probably the most entertaining match when they drew 4:4 in round 7.
The half-season was supposed to end last weekend, but the match Bratstvo – Volkovo was postponed for this weekend and it was eventually played on Sunday.
