Osogovo survived the tough road visit to promotion rivals Ovche Pole and is almost promoted to the second league as only an impossible scenario might turn things around.

Real promotion derby took place this midweek round as the group East was the only one active. In the town of Sveti Nikole the two lone promotion rivals faced each other in a direct battle. Hosts Ovche Pole had to win while visiting Osogovo was ok with a draw. Ovche Pole scored the necessary first half goal, but the Kochani visitors equalized after the break and managed to maintain the 1:1 score. Both goals were scored by the teams’ captains.
With 4 rounds left, Ovche Pole has only two remaining matches while Osogovo has 3. The Sveti Nikole based team is better in the head-to-head matches, but it’s almost impossible for them to take over the top as for that to happen Osogovo must lose all of their three games, something which is very hard to believe.
