This years’ edition of the traditional Australian-Macedonian friendly tournament takes place 27-29 January in Newcastle, New South Wales.
After two years of inactivity due to the COVID-19 restriction down under, the favorite football tournament among the Macedonian community returns with host clubs Broadmeadow Magic and Newcastle Suns. The two clubs were elected hosts for the 2021 edition, but that and the following edition were not held.
The draw was made in December and placed the 12 teams in three groups of 4:
Group A

Preston Lions
Queanbeyan City
Cringila Lions
Group B

TBD
Group C

Co-host Newcastle Suns will not be participating in the main tournament, but only in the U20, Women’s, veterans (over 35) and reserve. Since 11 out of 12 teams have been confirmed, the last 12th team will be decided later.
