The XII edition of the most popular tournament for Macedonian diaspora clubs will take place next weekend with 10 teams participating in the main category.

This year’s hosts is the 6 time winners Rockdale City Suns with their Ilinden Sports Centre in Sydney. The matches will be played at six other venues with the main tournament taking places at Jensen Park 1 besides the Ilinden field. The tournament will begin on Thursday the 24th with the opening match. It will feature tournaments in 7 categories. Besides the main category for the senior teams, clubs will compete in reserves, veterans, U20, women’s, U16 and U14.

Ten clubs divided into two groups of 5 will participate in the main tournament. The top two will advance in the semis. Hosts Rockdale are the most successful club in the history of the Maso Cup so it will be interesting to see if someone can match them in their home.
