The opening half was about to end goalless when home defender Borjan Panovski fouled Mite Cikarski in the box. The referee first let the play continue to see the visitors will score, but as soon as the chance ended he pointed on the spot. Veteran player Velkoski easily converted the penalty, scoring past keeper Luka Stojkovski.

Bashkimi managed to equalize 10 minutes from time with an attractive goal by Demiri. When it seemed that the points will be split, Hristijan Pecov from left served Hristov in the box and the later scored a winner.
