2.MFL overview of Round 29 (Video)

Bregalnica is almost promoted after today’s road win against Osogovo, while the battle for the promotion play-off spots will be decided in the very last round next week.

Bregalnica easier than expected defeated Osogovo with 3:0 and practically sealed the top, the lone place that leads in the top flight, as in thew last round they host already relegated side Pobeda, a team that plays with young players. It is hard to believe that the Blues will drop points against the Prilep teenagers, and that’s why they celebrated after today’s match.

Skopje recorded an easy win away in Golemo Konjari and is tied with Bregalnica, but the Shtip based team has the better head-to-head record and that’s why is topping the table (we can’t fix it in our table as it shows Skopje on top because has more goals scored).

Novaci gave Shkëndija 77 a hard first half as the visitors were leading, but near the end Shkëndija 77 turned the result around and after the break smashed the visitors. In the last round Shkëndija 77 will travel to Makedonska Kamenica and will have to return home with a win in order to keep the promotion play-off place.

The match in radovish was very close to get postponed due to heavy rain, but luckily the weather calmed and allowed Ohrid Lychnidos to record a win thank to two goals scored after the break. Ohrid Lychnidos in the last round hosts relegated side Sloga 1934 and not only that must win in order to grab a promotion play-off place but they will have to hope that Shkëndija 77 doesn’t beat Sasa.

Kozhuf, Teteks and Sasa will enter the relegation play-offs against the five third league winners, while Vardar (N), Prespa, Sloga 1934, Pobeda and Golemo Konjari are relegated.
