Skopje smashed Metalurg in the Avtokomanda derby, Vardar Negotino got relegated, Teteks beat Tikvesh to make the last round very interesting when it comes to avoiding relegation.
Metalurg needed a win over local rivals Skopje in order cement a place in this league for next season. However, already promoted Skopje played highly motivated in this game and left the field with a huge 4:0 win.
Teteks recorded a very important win over direct relegation rivals Tikvesh. The visitors had the lead with late first half goal, but Teteks made a come from behind win after the break. With these 3 points now they are levelled with the today’s rival but have the worst head-to-head record.
Vardar had to stay undefeated away in Turnovo today, but the Negotino based team lost 1:0. Since Teteks won, they are now officially relegated since at the end they can end equal on points with both Teteks and Tikvesh, but they have worst head-to-head record compared to both rivals.
Winners Akademija Pandev visited promotion play-off qualified Novaci and played a goals galore match ending with a 5:2 win for the visitors.
Gorno Lisiche and Vlazrimi 77 also played a not important match in which they split the points.
The last round will decide which team will be relegated alongside Vardar. Metalurg with 26 points welcomes Teteks in a direct battle, while Tikvesh hosts Turnovo in a must win game. With a win Tikvesh will stay in the league regardless of the outcome between Metalurg and Teteks.
Have in mind that next season the second league will split into two groups with 10 teams each, so the Federation may decide to spare the last two teams from relegation. Also, in another scenario the 8th placed team may enter a play-off.
