2.MFL East & West overview of Round 17

Stunning performance by Bregalnica who smashed Plachkovica away by six goals, but there’s no change at the top three in the East since everyone won. However, the situation in the West is getting more complicated as leaders Struga once again failed to win while Pelister came thirds after defeating runners-up Labunishta.

Bregalnica traveled away to Radovish where they expected a tough match against Plachkovica, but instead they recorded an e4asy win. Four to null was the result on half-time and after the break the Blues just added two more to humiliate the hosts with a 6:0 win.

Leaders Borec was losing at home by Kit-Go but still managed to win. Twenty minutes fro time the equalized, while a minute before the end Hristov scored a game winning goal.

Second and third placed Tikvesh and Kozhuf celebrated against the relegation struggling Partizan and Vardar.

Big disappointment for the fans in Makedonska Kamenica as their Sasa lost a very important match against Detonit. The must win match for the hosts ended with the visitors taking the points leaving the Miners bottom-placed.

Third goalless draw in a row for leaders Struga. This time it was Skopje to deny them the points. Struga haven’t won in the second half season. But their goalless form isn’t enough for runners-up Labunisha to take over the top. They are also struggling after the winter break and today even allowed Pelister to join the promotion race. A converted penalty was enopugh for the Bitola based team to clinched important three points against a direct rival.

The penalty:

Teteks recorded the third consecutive win and from dead last are now back in game for avoiding relegation. Last round they were lucky to win green table points thanks to a silly mistake by Labunishta, but now they needed a stoppage time penalty to beat Korabi.

The most entertaining match took place in Gostivar where the home side defeated Vlazrimi 77 in a match featuring five goals.

This round got closed on Sunday when Goblen hosted Gench Kalemler in a battle for avoiding relegation. An early goal scored after just two minutes decided the winner as the points stayed at home.
