Shkendija welcomed Vardar behind closed doors in Tetovo as part of the first of the six-match-ban due to the incidents that occured on the return semi-final leg of the Macedonian Cup between the very same teams. Despite Shkendija won with 3:1, their first league win over Vardar in the fourth match this season, the difference between the two is still huge as now it is 10 points. This was the last game between these two for this season, so Shkendija will now pray for a miracle in the rest of the season as now only the other teams can help them in the title battle.

Renova started furiously on the road game in Gjorche Petrov against bottom placed Makedonija. Defender Visar Musliu managed to record a brace in the opening 5 minutes, while his teammates quickly added a third and by the 13th minute the score was 0:3. The rest of the match was just a routine and eventually ended 1:3 with the Lions scoring one in the injury time. Renova is fighting for the fourth place with Pelister, they must finish before them in order to qualify for the UEFA Europa League, but even that doesn’t guarantee them a spot as if Pelister wins the Macedonian Cup they will be left empty handed.

Bregalnica got a chance to have a revenge on Pelister for the elimination in the Macedonian Cup semi-final, but failed to seize it. In Shtip, the Blues were leading 1:0 thanks to the own goal by Mecinovikj half way through the first half. Pelister equalized just few minutes after the break with a suspicious goal that resulted in the home players protesting to the referees. Pelister proved to be a nightmare opponent for Bregalnica this season as the six games between these two (4 in the league in 2 in the cup) Bregalnica recorded 3 defeats and 3 draws.

Moment of Bregalnica - Pelister

Pobeda hosted Sileks and had to win some important points in the battle for avoiding relegation. The game seemed to end in a goalless draw, but the hosts managed to grab the 3 points with a last minute penalty goal.

The match that closed this round got played a day later, on Thursday. Rabotnichki was surprised at home by Shkupi and lost with a lone goal. In the 7th minute of the injury time Filip Ivanovski failed to equalize as Suad Zendeli saved his penalty shot. After the final whistle one of the visiting staff attacked and punched the main referee. Shkupi will now surely face a fine for this uncivilized behaviour.
