The Round 13 matches were all moved for Saturday instead of the standard schedule on Sunday. The reason is that there are players summoned in the national team for the World Cup road qualifier against Spain that will be played next Saturday, so a day plus for resting is always welcomed.

Leaders Vardar recorded another win. They did not shine, but a lone goal by Ukrainian defender Yevhenii Novak was enough to beat bottom-placed Bregalnica in Kochani.

After 3 winless games second-placed Shkendija eventually managed to clinch 3 points. They defeated Pobeda in Bitola but thanks to Vardar’s win they are still 7 points away from the top.

Rabotnichki hosted Pelister in what was probably the derby of this round and also a battle for the third place. It was goalless when Brazilian international Lucas Cardoso gave Pelister the winner three minutes from time. Previously in the 27th minute Rabotnichki missed a penalty kick as Bojan Najdenov kicked the ball over the goal.

Makedonija Gjorche Petrov hopped to bring some joy to its fans in the home clash with Sileks, but after taking the lead the visitors manage to equalize so the teams split the points.

Shkupi is again playing hot and cold. After the great results against Vardar and Shkendija, especially against the later, they got defeated by Renova today.

With the national team break next week there won’t be any games in the Macedonian first league.
