Power Rankings Macedonian First League

1.MFL 14/15 Power Rankings (3rd edition)

In the third edition of our “Power Rankings” there are some unbelievable steaks as we’ve compared the current form of the 10 clubs in the Macedonian First League.

The 2014/15 season of the First League is getting towards the winter break as there are only two round left. In this edition we present you the current form of the teams in the last five rounds (from Round 11 until Round 15). Many thing have changed since the last edition except for Vardar who is still table leader and undefeated and Teteks who is still deadlast and without a win.

rank team record comments

alt 5-0-0 The holders eventually put the team back in order and started destroying their opponents. With 7 wins in a row they are perfect this edition and also got to the second place at the table.

alt 4-1-0 A goalless draw away in Turnovo prevented Vardar from being right there at the top with Rabotnichki. The Red&Black team is still leading the table with 6 points advantage.

alt 3-1-1 After the crisis that sent them to the 8th place on the previous rankings, Sileks is back to the top. Their only defeat was to panting Rabotnichki.

alt 2-1-2 Bregalnica had a manager change but thanks to a win over deadlast Teteks and a home draw against 9-men Turnovo, they have enough for this high position.

alt 2-1-2 Renova has same record as Bregalnica and a more valuable win over Pelister away, but they did lose by Bregalnica and their new manager in the very last round.

alt 1-3-1 Turnovo was in the blue with 6 rounds without a win until, of course, was visited by Teteks. They are a tough to beat mid table team with a 5-5-5 seasonal record and a 15:15 goal difference.

alt 2-0-3 If last edition they were topping the Power Rankings, Shkendija is now the biggest disappointment. With 3 defeats (Vardar, Renova, Rabotnichki) they seems out of the title race with 13 points behind the table leaders.

alt 1-1-3 The young team of Metalurg is paying for their inexperience. They are a promise, but are also no match for the best teams.

alt 0-2-3 An awful crisis for the Green&White as they haven’t scored a goal in the last 8 games! Their defence is still the best in the league with only 7 goals conceded (Vardar has the same), but the problems for losing points is of course the attack.

alt 0-0-5 The only team that failed to change anything since the last rankings. The Textilers are on a very bad run with unbelievable 11 defeats in a row!

This edition of the Power Rankings is the final for 2014 as until the end of the first half-season there are only two rounds left. That means that the 4th edition will be released in 2015, after the Round 21 when again there will be a break due to the 2016 EURO qualifications.
