The pride of Bitola is again in a very bad situation. Today they visited bottom-placed side of Skopje in a hope that they can win the points in order to save the club from a third relegation. But the game went downhill for them right from the start. The second minute just had started when Benjamin Demir was fouled in the box by Bojan Ilievski. Aleksovski converted the penalty bringing an early lead.

Later the same half Congolese international Joël Bopesu twice took a perfect corner kick which resulted into goals. First it was Togolese winger who seized the occasion to double the lead, while later Cameroonian defender Ousseini Mounpain put the visitors into despair.

Pelister had a colossal chance to get back in game just before the half-time whistle, but Petar Ljamchevski somehow managed to miss on an empty goal from a close range.

In the 60th minute Filip Petkovski had a great chance to make it 4:0. He went one on one with the keeper Darko Atanasovski, but the visitor was more successful denying the home captain a goal.

If Pelister had even a slightest hope for somehow getting back, all of that died with Todorovski’s unlucky own goal in the 68th minute.

Skopje and Pelister are now equal on points but the later took over the bottom place due to worst goal-difference and head to head record. Still, both are in the relegation zone.

Third from behind Pobeda welcomed the new champions in Strumica and recorded a much needed and important win. Obviously the visitors weren’t preoccupied with the final score allowing Pobeda to clinch the points, very important in the battle for escaping the last two places. Pobeda is now four points ahead of Skopje and Pelister.

Vardar recorded only defeat since new manager Boban Babunski took over, but that bad run got stopped today in Kratovo. With two goals scored in the opening twenty minutes, the red&blacks denied Sileks to put in question their second place. The last half an hour Vardar played with ten men due to the expulsion of Goran Popov, but Sileks failed to punish that.
