Rabotnichki managed to held leaders Vardar to a goalless draw with their keeper saving a penalty deep into the stoppage time. Borec held Akademija Pandev, Renova surprised Shkupi on the road, Shkendija defeated Makedonija GjP.

Two matches of this round took place on Saturday. Due to the recommendations of the Government of Republic of Macedonia, FFM asked all clubs to close their stadiums and play in front of empty stands as precaution for the coronavirus.

The top match this round was the 90th edition of the Old Derby of Skopje between neighbors Vardar and Rabotnichki. The Reds were better in the first half failing to score on few occasions, while after the break Vardar took the initiative and outplayed Rabotnichki.

No goals were scored in the 90 minutes, but than, in the 7th injury minute Vardar got a great chance after being awarded a penalty kick. Newcomer Hristijan Pecov played with hand in the box, but keeper Risto Jankov saved Darko Micevski’s penalty kick. Jankov was actually the second choice keeper that came in in the 65th minute after Damjan Shishkovski got injured.

Borec picked up a valuable point away to Akedemija Pandev after managing to hold the Cup holders to a goalless draw. Since this was their 10th match in a row without a win, Pandev’s manager Jugoslav Trenchovski right after the game decided it was time to leave.

Shkupi was surprised at home by Renova who recorded an important win in the relegation battle. The host had the lead, but the visitors turned the result around in the last two minutes before the break. Their first goal was a real masterpiece by Kadriu. In the second half Shkupi was left with 9 men but still managed to score a second goal, which wasn’t enough to avoid the loss.

Holders Shkendija got back on minus 8 from Vardar thanks to a home win over Makedonija GjP. The Lions equalized from the spot in the second half, but only minutes later Shkendija added two and decided the winner.
