Leaders Vardar welcomed defending champions Shkendija with an 8 point difference that stayed unchanged after the match.

The hosts took the lead from the spot in the 29th minute after Matej Cvetanoski was brought down in the Box. Captain Darko Micevski was confident to defeat keeper Kostadin Zahov.

Just five minutes later Shkendija equalized through Omar Imeri who found himself one on one with home keeper Filip Gachevski after a mistake of the Vardar back line. Eight minutes after the break Ali Adem finished a great counter attack for a 2:1 lead. In the 65th minute Imeri scored his second to level on again.

This was probably the best quality match in the top flight this season. Both teams showed good play, desire and effort, while the home crowed showed up in around 5.000 adding a thing or two for a special atmosphere.
