Today ended the 2024/25 season in the Macedonian top flight. Shkëndija had already clinched the title and hosted runners-up Sileks in a match where they received the trophy after the final whistle by the FFM president Masar Omeragikj. Unfortunately, Sileks ruined their party a bit as they won 3:1. Not just that, by their striker Marko Gjorgjievski scored a braced and equaled Shkëndija’s Besart Ibraimi at the top of the goalscoring list. Both have 15 goals.
Besa 1976 celebrated away to Pelister, but failed to escape the relegation play-off position as Brera Strumica also won. Besa 1976 will now wait to Sunday’s second league final round to find out its opponent in the single leg play-off. It will be one of Arsimi, Bashkimi 1947 or Bregalnica.
As previously known, Gostivar and Voska Sport withdrew from the league and they will have to start from the fourth division, but from the 2026/27 season as both got a one season ban from competing.
