Macedonia played its last game for the year 2012. The friendly against Poland in Antalya ended with a high defeat and a poor showing of the squad made by players from the Macedonian First League clubs plus two internationals. The Polish squad was made only by players from their best league.

Poland opened the score after only 11 minutes. The Turkish referee awarded a penalty for Poland although Ostoja Stjepanovikj did not faul the opposing player. Goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski, one of the two internationals, saved Szymon Pawłowski’s penalty but Arkadiusz Milik was quicker than the Macedonians and score on a rebound. Later in the 23rd minute Szymon Pawłowski doubled the lead, announced a disaster for Janevski’s team.

In the second half Polanad scored two more goals. First defender Artur Jędrzejczyk headed for 3:0 in the 64th minute, while in the 79th Waldemar Sobota scored for 4:0. Macedonia only managed to pull one back three minutes from time with a 25 meters shot by Dejan Blazhevski.

Despite the claimings that this would not be a FIFA official game, few days ago it was announced that it would actually be. Therefore, the game will affect the two teams in the FIFA World Ranking.
