Defender Ardijan Cuculi, who last played with Shkendija, has joined Rijeka on trial for the start of their preparations held in Slovenia.
Left back Ardijan Cuculi will look to convince the Rijeka manager Elvis Scoria of his qualities during his trial with the Croatian club. Cuculi was one of 24 players who made the trip with Rijeka for the start of their summer preparations which are being held in the Slovenian town of Pohorje. Rijeka will play several friendlies and then decide whether to make a contract offer for Cuculi.
Ardijan featured in 31 games for Shkendija last season, 30 of them as a starter. If Cuculi were to leave, he would become just the latest player to depart from Shkendija, who has already seen Ersen Sali, Vladimir Nikitovic, Kemal Alomerovic and Oliver Peev leave in this transfer window.
