Macedonian internationals performances (28-31.01.2022)

This was a rather quiet weekend for the internationals from Macedonia as Agim Ibraimi and Ilirid Ademi were the only ones to score a goal, while many other European leagues still remain inactive during the winter break.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Egnatia – Dinamo 1:1
Agim Ibraimi opened the score of the game early in the 8th minute after firing an unstoppable shot from a free kick for the visitors. Egnatia was also left with only 10 players for the remaining part of the match, but that didn’t hold them from fighting back and their efforts finally paid off in the 56th minute when Ilirid Ademi scored an equalizer. Ademi eventually got taken off after playing for 69 minutes, while his teammates Besar Iseni and Besart Krivanjeva played the whole match. For the visiting side, Ibraimi got replaced right after the equalizing goal, Goran Siljanovski played the full 90 minutes while Edis Malikji started on the bench and got introduced at the start of the second halftime. The only Macedonian international that did not get any playing time this encounter was Demir Imeri who remained an unused substitute for Egnatia.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Laçi – Partizani 1:0
Centre back Viktor Velkoski played the whole game for the hosts and helped them keep a clean sheet, while his partner in the defense Bashkim Velija got introduced late in the 86th minute. Unlike the Laçi duo, neither Egzon Belica nor Aleksandar Damchevski (who is still recovering from an injury) got summoned by Partizani.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Skënderbeu – Teuta 0:1
Bekim Redjepi conceded one goal as his club suffered a loss from Teuta, while neither Ramin Alii from the hosts nor Blagoja Todorovski from the visiting side got any playing time in this round.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Tirana – Kukësi 4:0
Filip Najdovski, Kristijan Toshevski and Ennur Totre made the start for Tirana, the same did Filip Gligorov for the away team. Eventually, Tirana demolished Kukësi.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kastrioti – Vllaznia 0:1
Mevlan Adili and Fahrudin Gjurgjevikj were starters for Vllaznia. Mevlan played until the 1st minute of stoppage time when he received his second yellow card of the game, while Fahrudin was replaced in the 70th minute.

Australia, A-League, Western United – Melbourne City 1:0
Stefan Cholakovski started in attack for the visitors and lasted 74 minutes on the pitch.

Australia/New Zealand, FFA Cup, Melbourne Victory – Wellington Phoenix 4:1
CB Matthew Bozhinovski came off Wellington’s bench in the 69th minute as his team was eliminated from the FFA Cup.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Dinamo – Rijeka 2:0
Arijan Ademi and Stefan Ristovski were starters for the hosts. Arijan played 77 minutes, while Stefan played all minutes. Meanwhile, Darko Velkovski was the entire game in Rijeka’s defense.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Istra – Gorica 2:1
Vlatko Stojanovski opened on Gorica’s bench and was introduced in the 60th minute.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Šibenik – Hajduk 1:3
Jani Atanasov played from the 72nd minute as his team Hajduk won on the road at Šibenik.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Aris – AEL 1:2
Both Kire Ristevski and Davor Zdravkovski played the full game for the winning side.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, APOEL – Doxa 2:0
Damjan Shishkovski served the entire match between the posts for Doxa and conceded two goals, while his teammate Dushko Trajchevski joined him on the field in the 70th minute.

AEK captain Ivan Trichkovski played another full match, while Martin Bogatinov remained on the bench as Ethnikos’ reserve goalkeeper.

Greece, Soúper Ligk, Giannina – Apollon 2:0
Nikola Jakimovski started the match on the bench and got introduced in the 62nd minute.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Debrecen – Kisvárda 0:0
Dorian Babunski had his debut for Debrecen as he got introduced at the start of the second halftime against Kisvárda. 18 minutes later, his brother David Babunski also joined him on the field.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Honvéd – Gyirmót 0:1
Matej Cvetanoski immediately found himself in the starting lineup at his new club in Hungary, and he went on to play for 79 minutes. His team scored an important away win which is a good step in their fight for survival in the Hungarian top division.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Mezőkövesd – MTK 1:1
Bojan Miovski opened for MTK and got taken off only 4 minutes before the end of the match, while Stefan Spirovski got introduced from the bench in the 70th minute.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Újpest – Ferencváros 0:1
Stefan Jevtoski missed this match for the hosts due to an injury.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Paks – Zalaegerszeg 3:2
Daniel Milovanovikj and Nikola Serafimov suffered a narrow loss to Paks. Serafimov played the whole game while Milovanovikj got taken off in the 60th minute.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Cluj – Botoșani 1:1
Petar Petkovski remained sidelined due to his longterm injury.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Dinamo – Steaua 0:3
Mirko Ivanovski was all minutes at CF for Dinamo as his team lost at home.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Sepsi – U Craiova 3:1
Stefan Ashkovski played the opening 67 minutes for Sepsi. All four goals of the match were scored during Stefan’s time on the field.

Switzerland, Super League, Sion – Grasshoppers 2:0
Nikola Gjorgjev did not get summoned for Grasshoppers. Nikola’s contract runs until the upcoming summer and there are rumors that he could leave his club already this winter.
