Gjurovski (red/black jersey) scored yet another goal for Muangthong United; photo: mthai.comMario Gjurovski added another goal for Muangthong United in Thailand, Besart Ibraimi reached the back of the net for Sevastopol in the opening round of the Ukrainian second division, while Daniel Ivanovski provided an assist to help Mjällby secure a narrow win.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dynamo Kyiv – Metalurh Donetsk 1:0
Goran Popov is still recovering from an injury so he was kept out by Dynamo Kyiv who needed a goal in the 90th minute to snatch all three points.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Volyn – Karpaty 1:1
Vanche Shikov played the entire game for Volyn at left CB while his teammate Dushan Savic was not among the 18 players called up.  As for Karpaty, Martin Bogatinov played from the start and conceded one goal in the 69th minute, although replays showed that the goal was slightly offside.

Ukraine, Persha Liha, Sevastopol – Naftovyk 2:2
Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the 58th minute when he was substituted by Vladimir Koval.  Ibraimi scored the opening goal of the game in the 23rd minute with a shot from distance, although the opposing keeper displayed delayed reflexes and conceded a rather soft goal.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Thun – Lausanne 0:0
Muhamed Demiri got the start for Thun in midfield and played until the 86th minute when he was replaced by Luca Zuffi.  Thun opened the new season with a goalless draw against Lausanne.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Lugano – Wil 3:1
Adis Jahovic played all 90 minutes for Wil who suffered a loss in the opening round of the Swiss second division.  Adis had a good chance just before halftime but the opportunity was squandered.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Gorica – Maribor 1:3
Agim Ibraimi did not play for Maribor due a red card that he picked up in the Slovenian Cup final last year.  He was allowed to play in the recent Super Cup final but served his one match ban in this game.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Celje – Triglav 1:0
Stefan Ristovski was an unused substitute for Celje.

China, Super League, Tianjin Teda – Qingdao Jonoon 0:0
Veliche Shumulikoski was not included in the 18 player squad for Tianjin Teda.

China, Super League, Liaoning – Guizhou Renhe 1:1
Vlatko Grozdanoski started for Liaoning and played the first 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by fellow attacker Jin Taiyan.

Austria, ÖFB-Cup, Leoben – Mattersburg 1:3
Ilcho Naumoski did not play for Mattersburg who advanced to the next round of the Austrian Cup.

Austria, ÖFB-Cup, Bregenz – Kapfenburg 1:2
Filip Gachevski, who was retained by Kapfenburg despite reports in Austria that he left the club, played from the start at keeper and conceded one goal in the 80th minute.  The narrow win meant that Kapfenburg advanced to the next round of the competition.  However, Gachevski only played in this game because the #1 keeper Patrick Kostner was serving a red card suspension from last season while the backup keeper Paul Paiduch was out with an injury.

South Korea, K-League, Suwon – Jeonbuk 0:3
Stevica Ristic started on the bench for Suwon before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Ha Tae-Goon.  Ristic failed to turn the game around for Suwon who has now lost three consecutive league games by at least three goals in a bad stretch for the club.

Thailand, Sponsor Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Chiangmai 3:0
Mario Gjurovski played all 90 minutes for Muangthong United and continued his great form in Thailand by scoring the opening goal of the game in the 26th minute.  In addition, Mario was responsible for the assist on the second goal by Muangthong in the 36th minute.

Romania, Supercupa României, CFR Cluj – Dinamo Bucureşti 2:2  (Dinamo won 4:2 on penalties)
Kristijan Naumovski was an unused substitute for Dinamo Bucureşti as he was the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.  It was 1:1 after 90 minutes, 2:2 after 120 minutes, but Dinamo won the Romanian Super Cup by winning 4:2 in the penalty shootout.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Irtysh – Astana 3:0
Both Filip Ivanovski and Dimitrija Lazarevski played the entire game for Astana who suffered a convincing defeat away to Irtysh.  This was Ivanovski’s first start in his second match for Astana.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Tobol – Atyrau 1:0
Mensur Kurtishi was not included in the Tobol squad due to an injury.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Kairat – Sunkar 1:3
Nikola Tonev played all 90 minutes at CB for Sunkar who overcame an early 1:0 deficit by scoring the next three goals and returning home with all three points.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Sundsvall 1:0
Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby and provided the assist on the only goal in the 63rd minute when his cross reached Erton Fejzullahu who then fired a shot to the back of the net.

Armend Alimi remains out with a groin injury for Örebro.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Spartak Trnava – Košice 0:0
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and kept a clean sheet in the opening round of the 2012/13 Slovak season.  Tofiloski made his best save near the end of the match when he parried away a powerful header from close range.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Iskra-Stal – Dacia 2:2
Goran Dimovski did not play for Dacia while his teammate Ersen Sali began the game on the bench before coming on in the 55th minute to replace Vasily Pavlov.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Sogndal – Stabæk 3:1
Jasmin Mecinovic stayed on the bench as an unused substitute for Sogndal.

Latvia, LMT Virslīga, Jūrmala – Skonto 0:0
Bojan Gjorgievski was an unused substitute for Skonto.
