Macedonian diaspora players performances (07-10.03.2025)

This was a succesfull weekend for the Macedonian diaspora players. Ali Sulemani scored a brace, Rhys Božinovski, Alec Uroševski netted one goal while Kazimcan Karataş and Stênio Júnior assisted for their respective teams.

Australia, A-League, Adelaide United – Brisbane Roar 1:1
James Delianov was Adelaide’s starting goalkeeper and conceded one goal at this game while his teammate Dylan Pierias substituted Harry Crawford in the 70th minute of the game.

Australia, A-League, Melbourne Victory – Central Coast Mariners 3:0
Daniel Graškoski was Victory’s bench goalkeeper while Sasha Kuzevski replaced the New Zealand international Storm Roux for Central Coast during the halftime.

Australia, A-League, Melbourne City – Macarthur Bulls 2:0
Medin Memeti and Arion Sulemani weren’t summoned by City for this match as well as Joshua Damevski by Macarthur.

Australia, A-League, Western United – Wellington Phoenix 4:1
Rhys Božinovski played until the 74th minute for United when he made way for Jordan Lauton while his teammate Jake Najdovski came instead Noah Botić in the 78th minute of the game. Božinovski scored the game opener in the 3rd minute.

Alexander Trajanoski played till the 67th minute for Rangers when Garang Awac took his place.

Australia, NPL New South Wales, Rockdale Ilinden – Wollongong Wolves 1:1
James Nikolovski and Alec Uroševski played the entire match for Ilinden, Matthew Keremelevski replaced Braydon Sorge, Jason Cakovski came instead Giorgio Speranza in the 84th minute while Michael Marcevski watched the match from Ilinden’s bench. Uroševski scored the match equilazer in the 88th minute.

Nicholas Kacev was an unused substitute for Magic as well as Jordan Velovski for Charlestown.

Cruz Tanchevski was brought on for Jaffas in the 76th minute when he replaced L.Graham.

John Stojčevski played the whole game for Altona while his teammates Dejan BakrdanikoskiFilip Jovčevski and Gavin Tasevski came as a substitutions in the second half. Bakrdanikoski substituted the English international Taofiq Olomowewe in the 60th minute, Jovčevski came instead Sallu Kamara in the 70th minute while Gavin Tasevski replaced Saad Moukachar in the 90th minute of the game.

Mersim Memeti and Ali Sulemani played the whole match for Thunder while Jay Romanovski made an late substitute appearance in the sixth minute of stoppage time replacing the Japanese international Yuki Ushida. Sulemani scored a brace in the 55th and in the 66th minute from the penalty kicks.

Noah Spaseski came instead Emile Peios in the 64th minute for Preston and also received a yellow card in the 84th minute while his teammate Jake Trajkovski replaced Lleyton Brooks in the 89th minute of the match. Jacob Ognenovski was Preston’s reserve goalkeeper at this game.

Marko Pavlovski opened in midfield and played until the 73rd minute for Dainava when he made way for Dominyk Kodz. Pavlovski was also booked in the 61st minute of the match.

Stênio Júnior* was part of Rayong’s starting line-up and lasted on the pitch till the sixth minute of stoppage time when Jetsada Batchari substituted him. Júnior provided an assist to Guntapon Keereeleang in the 63rd minute for their team’s second goal of the match and also missed a penalty kick in the 19th minute.

Berat Luş wasn’t part of Galatasaray’s matchday squad.

      Thank you very much for your comment.
      All of these players, with the exception of Oda, were born and raised in Macedonia, therefore they cannot be part of the Macedonian diaspora and that is why they are not included in this article.
      Looking forward to any further informations that can be useful for us.
