The draw for the new edition of the most popular Australian-Macedonian football cup will see Preston Lions taking on defending champions Rockdale City Suns as both were drawn in the same group.

Daniel Avramovski found a new club in Slovenian side Olimpija from the capital city of Ljubljana.

Aleksandar Trajkovski came back with a game winner assisted by Ilija Nestorovski, Uroš Matić, Jovan Kostovski and Muzafer Ejupi also netted one a piece, as did Trichkovski who has scored from a penalty he has won it himself previously.

Izair Emini, Enis Bardi and Muzafer Ejupi scored a goal each, while Ejupi also scored an own goal.

Adis Jahovikj was the hero this weekend with a goal and an assist, Enis Bardi and Mirko Ivanovski also scored one apiece, while Dorian Babunski debuted for Olimpija.

Macedonia will compete in the Group B together with Portugal, Serbia and Spain.

A really bad weekend for our internationals as none of the players netted a goal. Alioski at least provided an assist in Switzerland, while Dimitrievski celebrated a clean sheet in Spain.

Adis Jahovikj scored one gol and provided one assist, while Ilija Nestorovski, Muzafer Ejupi and Denis Mahmudov scored one goal apiece for their respective team.
