Tikvesh celebrated a road 3:1 win on the field, but was now punished with 3:0 green table loss. Also, despite being eliminated on the field, Vardar now continues in Cup, while Tikvesh has been thrown out.
What actually happened?
Tikvesh made an administrative error by attaching other player’s medical document on Okere’s profile. Later the club published his passed medical test, but for FFM that was not enough.
“Pursuant to Article 99, Paragraph 1, Item II, and Paragraph 4 of the FFM Competition Regulations (link), and taking into account Article 8 and Article 30, Paragraph 2 of the FFM Cup Competition Propositions for the 2026/27 season (link), as well as Article 63, Paragraph 6, and Article 68 of the FFM Competition Regulations, Tikvesh is eliminated from the Macedonian Cup competition for the 2026/27 season, and the match between Vardar and Tikvesh is recorded with an official result of 3:0 in favor of Vardar,” said FFM.

Tikvesh has also been fined 1,000 Euros.
“Responsibility for the situation that has arisen lies exclusively with Tikvesh, specifically with the individuals appointed by the club as COMET administrators, whose incompetence and oversights led to this outcome”, commented FFM.
FFM also reminded Tikvesh that their player Andrej Velkov has a medical document lacking a stamp from a medical institution (proof that he has passed the necessary tests).
They also pointed out last season’s scandal when Tikvesh’s U19 team was caught fielding players with forget identity.
“We would like to point out that this is not an isolated case. Tikvesh, specifically certain individuals within the club’s administration, has also been directly linked in the recent past to instances of document forgery concerning youth categories, as well as to irregularities in the data entered into the FFM’s official competition system.”
Vardar will now await the quarterfinal draw.
Tikvesh reacted suspiciously too calmly, accepting the green table elimination.
“Tikvesh informs the public that it accepts the decision made by FFM regarding the determined technical error. We are aware of the seriousness of the situation and the disappointment it has caused among our fans and supporters. The club will not seek excuses outside its own ranks, but will seek full reasonability for the administrative omission within its own structures. In that direction, the management of Tikvesh will take specific measures and make changes in the administrative segment that is responsible for managing, preparing and controlling official documentation and procedures related to the competition.”
