Macedonian U17 women national team suffered defeat in the first qualifying match for EURO 2013.

Macedonia hosts a qualification group for European Women’s Championship U17 2013. Besides Macedonia and Denmark, Scotland and Serbia are the other two participants and the matches are played in Strumica and Turnovo.

Macedonia played the first match today in Strumica, against Denmark and, as expected, lost to Denmark 4:0. Serbia defeated Scotland 3:2 in the other match.

Macedonia played with the following line-up: Angela Peeva, Marina Mitrevska (69′ Marija Davchevska), Evgenija Tapovska (67′ Violeta Jancheva), Simona Dameska, Stefani Skerlevska, Sashka Kokalovska (c), Gordana Stojkovska, Simona Krstanovska, Aleksandra Markovska (77′ Mihaela Peeva), Shkjipe Bojku, Ane Bosheska.

Macedonia’s next match is against Scotland on 1st of September in Turnovo.
