From April 14th until the 20th, Macedonia hosted an UEFA development tournament for players under 16 years of age.

Besides Macedonia, the national teams of Turkey, Northern Ireland, and Uzbekistan also took part. In the matches held in Strumica and Turnovo, the Turkish team made the best impression and deservedly won the tournament. Macedonia finished last with one draw (a win on penalties) and two losses, without scoring a single goal, which is more than a worrying fact. In the upcoming period, coach Iseini and his professional staff will have to find a way to overcome this anomaly. The fact is that six players were missing from our team in this tournament, but that in no way justifies our weak performance and huge inefficiency.
