Today were played the first two matches of the Round of 16 in the Macedonia Cup in which two second league sides advanced in the quarter-finals.

The surprise in the round was made by second division side Ohrid Lychnidos who hosted top flight side Shkupi and managed to hammer them with a comfortable 3:0 win. It is true that Shkupi is dead last in the first league, but still, having foreign players is a huge advantage against any team from the second league, where foreigners are not allowed. Today Ohrid fought bravely and deserved the with obtained with a brace by Gligorov and one goal by Kalanoski.
The other match was between two second league sides, Belasica and Detonit Plachkovica, and was decided in favor of the visitors from Radovish thanks to a lone goal scored early in the 3rd minute by Galevski.
