In the last decade, Macedonia has had very few coaches working abroad and hardly any of them work in the highest level of competition. In such a period, good news comes from Slovenia. The football club Radomlje, which competes in the Slovenian top division (Prva Liga), announced that Jugoslav Trenchovski has been appointed head coach of their senior team for the new season. The 48-year-old Trenchovski comes to the club with a clear vision and a focus on the development of young players, which fully aligns with Radomlje’s strategy.

“I have been following Radomlje for three years. I know the project and I know what the club wants to achieve. They want to present young football players, improve them and help them progress in their careers,” said Trenchovski after the first training session he conducted in Radomlje.
In his career so far, Trenchovski has been the head coach of the Macedonian clubs Horizont Turnovo, Kozhuf Miravci, Belasica, Akademija Pandev (today’s AP Brera Strumica), as well as Al-Arabi (Kuwait) and Sheikh Russell (Bangladesh), and was also the coach of the Macedonian U19 national team.
