Today at noon the draw for the new season in the Cup of Macedonia took place at FFM’s.

A total of 31 teams sign up, one less than the required number for the first round. That means that the title holders Tikvesh will skip this round and according to the rules, they will start from the Round of 16.

The empty spot is for a team from the West region, from where only one club (Xhepçishti) signed up. Each of the five regions (North, East, South, Southwest and West) has two spots. The other participants are 12 from the 1.MFL from last season and those placed from 1st to 10th place in the 2.MFL, also from last season.

The matches will be played on September 18 at 15:00 CET. Debutants in the Cup are Sloboden from Skopje’s Aerodrom neighborhood and Jeni Maale from the old Bitola settlement with the same name.
