Attacker Besart Ibraimi converted two penalties to hand Sevastopol a narrow 2:1 win over Goverla.
As a matter of fact, all three combined goals during the game were scored on penalty kicks. First, in the 3rd minute, Besart Ibraimi converted the first penalty with a right footed shot to the upper right corner and then converted his second penalty of the game in the 38th minute with a nice chip to the center of the goal that fooled the opposing keeper. The other team also scored their lone goal from a penalty but Sevastopol managed to collect all three points.
Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the second minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute when he was replaced by Michael Alozie. Ibraimi also received a yellow card in the 29th minute as Sevastopol stayed in 5th place of the Ukrainian second division with 36 points. Meanwhile, Goverla, today’s opponents, remained in second place with 44 points.
