FIFA president Infantino welcomes high FFM delegation

The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, on Tuesday in Zurich hosted a high delegation of the Football Federation of Macedonia, led by the president Muamed Sejdini.

In addition to the first man of the Macedonian football, FFM was represented by the general secretary Natalia Bozhinovska-Ilievska and Vladimir Gashevski, a member of FFM Board of Directors.

During the meeting, which was also attended by FIFA’s Director of Associations Members of the World Football Organization, a number of important football issues were discussed, the opportunities offered by the FIFA Forward program to support associations, as well as investments in infrastructure and women’s football.

“The Football Federation of Macedonia supports the efforts that FIFA is making for the development of football through the processes set by president Gianni Infantino. Under his leadership, FIFA has taken significant steps forward and is investing in the development of football around the world,” said FFM president Muamed Sejdini.

“FFM successfully uses the available funds and we discussed in what other ways we can work with FIFA to continue the development of football in Macedonia. It was pleasing to hear numerous compliments about our work and the national team, and it is our obligation to continue working hard and investing to justify the reputation that FFM enjoys in the football world with further results,” added Seidini.

Also, Mr. Sejdini presented Infantino with a Macedonian top as a gift.
