Squad for Ukraine qualifier & Armenia friendly announced

Macedonian national team coach Blagoja Milevski today announced the list of summoned players for the upcoming 2024 EURO qualifying match against Ukraine away and the friendly against Armenia at home.

Milevski summoned 25 players for the decisive must win qualifier against Ukraine that will be played in Prague. Surprisingly, he left out strikers Ilija Nestorovski and Dorian Babunski, but summoned recently recovered Darko Churlinov, who is not even registered for Premier League matches by his Burnley. Central defender Darko Velkovski has been left out as he is still without a club, while back in the team is right back Todor Todoroski.

Gjoko Zajkov, the central defender that injured his back while playing against Malta, is out with an injury.

The national team will gather on 9 October in Skopje and will held several training sessions. On Saturday the 14th of October at 15.00 CET is the match against Ukrane at the in Prague, the capital of Czechia. Ukraine is hosting their home matches there due to the ongoing war with Russia. Later on the 17th (Tuesday) Macedonia will host Armenia at the Blagoj Istatov stadium in Strumica, also at 15.00 CET.
