Potential internationals performances

Borko GorgievBorko Gorgiev became the youngest player to ever play in the Croatian top division, Benjamin Sulimani scored a goal in the Austrian Bundesliga and cemented Admira’s victory, while Alex Kacaniklic scored once and assisted three times in his team’s huge victory.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Admira Wacker Mödling – Sturm Graz 4:2
Emin Sulimani spent the entire game on the bench while his younger brother Benjamin Sulimani came on in the 72nd minute and scored Admira’s last goal in the 88th minute with a right footed shot.

Austria, Erste Liga, Rheindorf Altach – Hartberg 4:2
19-year-old forward Orhan Ademi started for Altach but was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Daniel Schöpf. With the win, Altach climbed to second place on the table.

Austria, Regionalliga Ost, Rapid Wien II – Team für Wien 0:0
Offensive midfielder Eldis Bajrami played all 90 minutes for Rapid in this goalless draw.

Austria, Regionalliga Ost, Wiener Sportklub – Austria Wien II 2:2
Philip Dimov, a 20-year-old defender, played the entire game for the home team and also received a yellow card in the 80th minute.

Croatia, T-Com 1. HNL, Karlovac – Inter Zaprešić 0:1
16-year-old Borko Gorgiev entered the game in the 72nd minute for Inter Zaprešić.  Gorgiev made his league debut on 12.08.2011 and thus became the youngest player to ever play in the Croatian top division.  Born in 1995, the midfielder confirmed he has Macedonian origins and is therefore eligible to play for the Macedonian U17 national team.

England, Premier League, Fulham – Blackburn Rovers 1:1

England, Premier Reserves League, Fulham Reserves – Bolton Wanderers Reserves 7:0
Alexander Kacaniklic had a brilliant game with a goal and three assists to help Fulham trash Bolton.  The offensive midfielder could still play for our U21 national team because he hasn’t played for the Swedish U21 national team in an official game.

Germany, Bundesliga, Werder – Hamburger SV 2:0
20-year-old midfielder Aleksandar Ignjovski made his debut in the Bundesliga as he started and played the entire game for Werder.  The righty showed his versatility by playing at left back in this game.  According to German magazine “kicker,” he was one of the best players on the field.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Lech – Wisła 0:1
Ivica Iliev started for Wisła and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Łukasz Garguła.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Neuchâtel Xamax – Grasshopper 2:0
Orhan Mustafi played the last 17 minutes for Grasshopper but couldn’t help his club avoid the loss.

USA, Major League Soccer, Philadelphia Union – Portland Timbers 0:0
Veljko Paunović played until the 77th minute for the Philadelphia Union before he was replaced by Kyle Nakazawa.
