Stevica Ristić scored a goal in his debut with Suwon but his club lost 3:1.
Stevica Ristić recently moved from Russian club Amkar Perm to Suwon and he made a quick introduction as he scored in his first game for Suwon today but his club suffered a 3:1 loss away to Chunnam. Ristić gave Suwon the lead in the 45th minute but the opponents scored three goals in the 2nd half to record a come from behind victory. Stevica played until the 84th minute when he was substituted by Woo Seung-Jea.
Ristić was born in Serbia but he decided to represent Macedonia internationally as his mother is of Macedonian descent. Stevica has made 15 appearances for the national team and has scored one goal during a friendly against Albania a couple of year ago. During his career, Ristić has had successful stints with Macedonian club Sileks as well as clubs from South Korea and Uzbekistan. He spent the past year in Russia with Amkar Perm but he had a disappointing season and the club mutually terminated his contract which allowed Ristić to return to South Korea with Suwon.
