The group East of the third division announced the beginning of the new season by eventually making the draw.

It is disappointing to see that only 6 teams confirmed their participation with the likes of Plachkovica (Radovish), Bregalnica (Delchevo), Horizont (Turnovo) and Tiverija (Strumica) not being among those who will play.

As Radovishki Sportski Mozaik reports, Bregalnica and Tiverija may join in the last minute as they have until Monday to pay the participation fee. In case they do that a new draw will have to be made.

It is great to see that Rudar is reactivated after two seasons of absence. The Probishtip based club last time played in the 2018/19 season.

According to Friday’s draw the Round 1 pairs are the following:

Malesh vs. Cheshinovo
Karbinci vs. Ovche Pole
Dojransko Ezero vs. Rudar

The new season should start next weekend.

Rumors say that Plachkovica may do a fusion with Detonit, but that is more likely to happen during the summer. Also, that depends if Detonit will manage to escape relegation from the 2.MFL. Plachkovica is the history rich club of Radovish, but Detonit is far more stable financially. For a small town like Radovish it will be a smart move if these two join forces, but only if the joint club has Plachkovica in its name in order to keep the history of Plachkovica (Detonit is formed in 2014).
