Midweek internationals performances‏

Mojsov scores in the Cup FinalDaniel Mojsov scored a goal for Vojvodina in the Serbian Cup final against Partizan, Aco Stojkov scored his 11th goal of the season for Aarau, while the teams of Goran Pandev, Goran Popov, Vladimir Dimitrovski, and Kristijan Naumovski advanced to the domestic cup finals in each respective country.

Italy, Coppa Italia, Inter – Roma 1:1
Goran Pandev was an unused substitute for Inter who advanced to the final of the Coppa Italia by winning 2:1 on aggregate over the two games against Roma.  Inter will face Palermo in the Coppa Italia final after Palermo eliminated Milan in the other semifinal matchup of the competition.

Ukraine, Kubok Ukraini, Dynamo Kyiv – Arsenal Kyiv 2:0
Goran Popov
played the entire game for Dynamo Kyiv who recorded a comfortable victory against Arsenal Kyiv and advanced to the final of the Ukrainian Cup where they will face their big rivals Shakhtar Donetsk.  Popov had an early chance in the 6th minute when he unleashed a powerful free kick from about 35 meters but his shot went just over the goal.  Popov also made a nice play in the 84th minute when he dispossessed the ball from an Arsenal Kyiv player before he set up his teammate Artem Kravets who hit the side netting with a shot from a difficult angle.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Omonia – APOEL 1:0

Ivan Trickovski started for APOEL and played until the 67th minute when he was replaced by Esteban Solari while his teammate Boban Grncarov was an unused substitute.  Trickovski had his best chance of the game just before halftime but his shot from the edge of the area went wide of the goal.  This was the final league game of the season for APOEL and both Trickovski and Grncarov had solid seasons and helped their team win the title in Cyprus.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Rapid Wien – Mattersburg 0:0

Ilco Naumoski did not play for Mattersburg because of a yellow cards suspension.

Serbia, Lav Kup Srbije, Partizan – Vojvodina 2:1
Aleksandar Lazevski did not play for Partizan because of an injury while Daniel Mojsov started for Vojvodina and played until the 83rd minute when the game was abandoned after the Vojvodina players decided to leave the pitch in protest of the referee.  Vojvodina was given about 15 minutes to return in order to continue the game but they refused so Partizan was given the 2:1 victory to win the Serbian Cup.  Mojsov was active and was involved in many crucial moments.  Mojsov scored the equalizing goal in the 63rd minute when he slid and just got his foot on a low free kick by his teammate Giorgi Merebashvili to score past the Partizan keeper.  In the 70th minute, the referee gifted Partizan a questionable penalty after he felt Mojsov fouled Partizan striker Prince Tagoe in the box.  It was a tough call as there was slight contact in the box but it didn’t seem that the foul by Mojsov warranted a penalty.  The only decision that counted was that of the referee and he pointed to the spot and Partizan converted the penalty to take a 2:1 lead.  Mojsov then should have equalized the game once again in the 80th minute when he scored on a header after another well taken free kick by Giorgi Merebashvili but the referee spotted a foul that was nonexistent and the goal by Mojsov did not count.  Vojvodina was livid at this point and things only got worse in the 83rd minute when Vojvodina wanted a penalty of their own after a foul in the box but the referee waved play on and Vojvodina decided to abandon the game and walk off the field.  The referee made the right decision this time as the contact in the box was not even close to being a penalty but Vojvodina wanted a make up call for the bad penalty that the referee gave to Partizan earlier in the game.  Mojsov also picked up a yellow card in the 72nd minute for complaining to the referee in what turned out to be a shameful ending that will overshadow Partizan winning the Serbian Cup final.
