Macedonia did not jump or moved down on the newest FIFA rankings so the Lynx stay 68th.
Our national team played two matches the past period, both European qualifiers. First we lost 2:1 on the road at Austria, while three days later we defeated Israel 1:0 at home in what was the last qualifier. These results brought us only 3 points more than the October rankings which resulted in no change regarding out spot.
Macedonia is still second from bottom in the region, but we are closer than ever to the next for national teams. In the next four places ahead of us are Albania, Slovenia and Montenegro with just few points away.
Our next matches are in March when we host Kosovo in the play-offs for reaching the 2020 EURO. In we win that game we will play another one, the final play-off.
