Jonuz and Babunski press conference

altMirsad Jonuz and Boban Babunski held press-conference today in FFM.

National team and national team under 21 coaches held press conference today in the football federation of Macedonia where they have informed the media about recent and upcoming happenings.

Mirsad Jonuz announced that he will not call Pandev for the upcoming friendly matches against Azerbaijan and Romania in Austria, while Jane Nikoloski has cancelled his arrival. Agim Ibraimi from U21 will be moved to the national team, while Blaze Ilijoski will also be added to the squad. Jonuz has pointed out that these matches will be used to try some new players out and get practice before the matches against Armenia and Slovakia as Azerbaijan and Romania play similar football with Macedonia’s qualification opponents, respectively. Jonuz has once again confirmed that players without standard minutes played in their clubs will not be getting calls for the upcoming qualifications tournament. Despite the recent call-ups he will also try to add Aleksandar Ignjovski and Emin Sulimani to the squad.

Boban Babunski was particularly pleased with the tournament in Yemen and said that tournament was a great experience for many of the players. He has reported for the good play by many players and was satisfied that the likes of Agim Ibraimi, Vladimir Dimitrovski, Aleksandar Lazevski etc are slowly getting ready to make a move to the senior national team. Babunski was also satisfied from what he saw from Filip Duranski, the Macedonian midfielder in Slavia Prague, for which he added that has great football vision and can be an excellent adition to the squad.
