Scottish national team coach Gordon Strachan announced the squad that will face Belgium and Macedonia in the upcoming 2014 World Cup qualification matches.
Without striker Kenny Miller announcing his international retirement earlier today, Strachan called up 27 players for the two games, 4 of which goalkeepers. All except 4 are players who play in the first three leagues of England with the others playing in the domestic league (3 in Celtic and 1 in Kilmarnock). A first time call has received Ikechi Anya who isn’t Scottish but is born in Glasgow (Nigerian father, Romanian mother).
