South-East Macedonia won over North Wales in the first round of the UEFA Regions’ Cup.

Macedonia once again was given the chance to organize a qualifying tournament of the UEFA Regions’ Cup.  Macedonia found itself in Group B along with North Wales, the Eastern Region of Northern Ireland and Hestrafors of Sweden, the matches to be played in Strumica and Turnovo.

In the first round, South-East Macedonia won over North Wales 1:0.  The lone goal was scored by Bojan Petrovski in the 33rd minute.

South-East Macedonia: Mirseloski; Koteski, Tanevski, Stojchevski, Ristevski, Kjeleshoski, Suliman (90’+2 Popovski), Dehari, Tashkov, Petrovski (61′ Bozhinovski), Rechkoski (71′ Cvetanov).

In the next round, Macedonia faces Hestrafors.  The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 16.00 CET at the Mladost Stadium in Strumica.
