Former Rabotnicki player Nikola Gligorov has signed a 2 year deal with Cypriot club Alki Larnaca.
It is now official, Gligorov will continue his career with Alki Larnaca. Yesterday, we reported that the player was close to Ethnikos Achnas but Alki made a better offer so Gligorov decided to sign with Alki. Alki was also the former team of Robert Popov but he was released by the club earlier this summer.
Gligorov signed with Ermis earlier this summer but recently terminated his contract after the club started having financial problems. Many players have already left Ermis with nine players signing with Ethnikos Achnas but Gligorov chose to sign with Alki. The Larnaca based club finished in 10th place last season but they have higher ambitions for this season.
Gligorov will turn 28 years old tomorrow and decided to take his career abroad after he spent the past couple of years with Rabotnicki. He was actually the captain of Rabotnicki last season.
