Slavco Georgievski scored an early goal to help Neftçi remain at the top of the table in Azerbaijan by beating second placed Inter Baku.

Georgievski showed nice skill on his goal in the 5th minute when he connected on a corner to score with the side of his right foot.  Neftçi only had a one point edge over second placed Inter Baku entering today’s match so the 2:1 victory moved Neftçi four points clear from their in-city rivals.

Slavco Georgievski played until the 73rd minute when he was substituted for Neftçi while his teammate Igor Mitreski played the entire game in the center of the defense.  Inter Baku equalized just before halftime but Neftçi then scored the game winner in the 77th minute directly from a free kick.
