“For us as a club, this half season has been disappointing and difficult. Shkupi and our fans do not deserve this situation. However, we hope to start with new energy and greater strength to restore the results and pride that this club deserves,” Minas Osmani, the current coach of Shkupi, said in a interview for FFM.
He believes that Shkupi will react to the January transfer market and bring in quality players to get out of the danger zone.
“We are maximally focused on opening the transfer window first. We hope that we will manage to bring in several quality players who will strengthen the team in those areas where we need it most. As for the players we already have in the team, we will have individual conversations with each of them and together we will assess the next steps.”
Minas Osmani emphasizes that Shkupi’s main goal is survival in elite domestic football.
“Our goal is for Shkupi to enter the second half of the season as complete and competitive as possible,” concluded the coach.
Shkupi will open the second half season at home against Tikvesh on 6/7 February.
